We are proud to share that our cohort has reached an important milestone: ethical approval has been officially granted. This means we can now start the next phase of the project: approaching the first patients for participation. This will be done first at UMC Utrecht from where we will slowly expand to other hospitals.
This first recruitment phase will take place at UMC Utrecht, from where we will gradually expand to other hospitals in the Netherlands.
With this approval, we can collect valuable data and samples that will contribute to future research and better care for people with cancer in the chest cavity.
